A Love of Learning wants your child to love learning. We provide a comprehensive assessment to discover your child's strengths and challenges. We create an outstanding and effective curriculum based on your particular child's needs. We have made this curriculum easy to use and understand because your child's success is our number one priority.
We offer individual tutoring as well as classes in math, reading, fluency, comprehension, kindergarten readiness, phonemic awareness, and writing skills. Our center serves children 4 years old and up as well as high school and college students. We offer fun, creative, and easy ways to improve children's skills allowing them to learn at their own pace. We ensure parents understand how to help children at home and ensure skills are consistently improving. When needed, we are able to communicate with all professionals involved in your child's education to ensure maximum success.
A Love of Learning Director Anne Vidovich, M.A. has been in education and working with children for over 25 years. She has worked as a Marriage Family Therapist, preschool teacher, parent educator, program developer of childhood programs, director of an afterschool program at Stanford University, and a tutor for over six years. As she discovered the learning programs offered by many agencies, she realized many children did not enjoy learning with these programs. She also discovered that the programs were very expensive and required a huge time and financial commitment. She offers a more affordable and "time-friendly" approach.
In A Love of Learning, Anne has created a fun, easy to use, and affordable alternative to allow access to all families in the community. "ALOL" ensures children are making consistent progress and parents understand how to use the program to assist their children at home. She understands how to effective work with children and help them when they feel a lack of confidence, overwhelmed, or defeated. Anne quickly intervenes to ensure attention is given to these issues.She has a passion for making a difference in the lives of families as well as children who struggle with attention, focus, learning, and in all academic areas. It is her mission to deliver an effective, affordable, and nurturing environment to every child and parent who works with her. Dealing with challenges effectively and helping children develop a love of learning are primary goals at A Love of Learning.
